South Security Gate Complex, Contract L602-C9

Project Dates: February 2003 – August 2003
Project involved the installation of security fencing and precast concrete walls, security devices (tilt gates, rotating wedge barriers, wooden arm gates), and CCTV cameras and associated equipment. Also included was construction of a new guard shelter (including all associated utilities, underground conduits, required power and control cables and control systems hardware/software), installation of new curbing and sidewalks, and restoration of existing paved roadways, sidewalks and pavement markings. Maintenance of continuous site security and traffic control was of critical importance to this project.
North & South Security Gates, Contract L602-C25

Project Dates: June 2004 - November 2004
Work under this contract involved the demolition of 2 existing rotator vehicle wedge barriers and hydraulic control cabinet, and the installation of 4 new rotator wedge vehicle barriers and two hydraulic control cabinets, the installation of a new chain link tilt gate, traffic lights, flashing lights and additional traffic signage, and the installation of additional, and replacement of existing, traffic loops. Also included were modifications to the existing mimic panel, gate Programmable Logistic Controller cabinet, and installation of an Uninterrupted Power Supply unit for the PLC system. Maintenance of continuous site security and traffic control was of paramount importance to this project.
Boundary Security Infrastructure, Contract L746-C1
Contract Value: $10,600,000
Project Dates: September 2005 – July 2007
The scope of work for the Boundary Security infrastructure project included installation of new precast concrete walls and structural bollards, including associated foundations, structural modifications, utility and electrical relocations, sidewalk replacements, and the installation of new lighting along the concrete walls. Work was performed in numerous locations along the existing Air Operations Area (AOA) boundary.
